Week 1. Who are you at this moment
We agreed that life isn’t a draft, so you can’t realy start a new life. Just continue differently: start a new career, open a blog, change your behaviour, start running at mornings (oh, god, no!)
How to decide who are you now?
When we describe ourselves, we use common phrases. Them just scratch the surface.
As for me: mom, 32, former marketing manager and editor, now freelancer. Love sports and travelling.
But this week I want to dig deeper and find another ways to expand my knowledge about myself. How?
There is a pack of methods, I just pick up some to try:
- Personal diary
The best way is to use questioning for writing a diary. I print it on my computer and after that show the text to GPT, asking it to act like a psyhologist and make some further questions. It helps to go deeper with every day. Try it.
Here is my prompt: Act like a professional psychologist. I answer the random question “…?” Highlight the solutions I found in my journal entry. Ask additional questions that will help me find techniques to get out of the situation. Suggest practices that can help the situation
- Mindmap
Sometimes it’s a great idea to describe yourself in sheme. At least to remember that we are bigger than a flat picture. Not just a professional, but a nice frend (are you?), an artist, a writer, a sporstmen and also a person with unique characteristics.
So, you could use something like this
I intend to add information and ideas, edit this mindmap and think about it at least once in a month.
- Ask for an advice
You could ask people to describe you. If you deside it, pick the most closest people to you, so you can gain a feedback based on deep communication.
Also, you can speak about yourseld with helping professionals - psycologists and coaches.
The third way is to take a test. But remember that it will held to common conclusions, not individual. The most popular is test Myers-Briggs.
This is my PLAN for this week
Write a diary with questions about myself
Speak about me with relativers and go through some personal tests
All of this will help me to build a mindmap - to decide the ways for my development
I don’t keep an illusion, that in the end of this week I will have a starting point. But it help me to make it clear for me.
